team building in Pattaya

Lertlah School has 3 different campuses, and I work at Campus 2. For team building, Campus 2 took us foreign teachers and Thai teachers to Pattaya.

Unfortunately I spent most time there inside the hotel, participating in the team building events, so most of these photos were taken around the hotel during the little break we had between the events and dinner. What a shame, because there are so much to see and do in Pattaya, but maybe I will go back in the future.

first week

I have survived the first week! I had my ups and downs, but overall it wasn't too bad. I definitely need to learn a lot more about classroom management, and need to plan different ways to teach.

I will try to blog more often. I just don't have much photos to share right now since I've been so busy with work, but I'm getting used to the routine now that I can probably find spare time to do other things and take more pictures. Until then, have a good weekend!

first day

I took this picture 3 weeks ago on my first day of orientation. My desk looks a lot messier now with photocopied worksheets and textbooks occupying my desk area.

Today is my first day teaching! I'm super excited and terrified at the same time. I have been prepping and making plans for 3 weeks now, and I do know what I want to do with my students today, yet I feel like I don't know what I'll be doing in class.

Kanchanaburi photo diary

I went to Kanchanaburi during my first weekend in Thailand with student teachers from University of Brandon.

We stayed in Pong Phen, a small but very nice and cozy place.

They don't say garbage here. It's rubbish.

Hello from Bangkok

Hello everyone! It's been a while.

As some of already know, I'm in Bangkok. I'm going to be here for next 10 months, teaching middle school math at a private school.

I have so much to share with all of you, but I'll just share these for now.
